To prepare for your visit, please read the information below or contact us for more information on how to make sure you have everything you need for a successful visit to our office.
Preparing For Your Visit
At your child’s initial visit, expect to be there for at least an hour. The doctor will take a thorough history (including family history, social history, developmental history, and birth history). Any records that you bring will be discussed and reviewed. The doctor will perform a neurologic evaluation and may also perform neurodevelopmental screening tests. Afterwards, the doctor’s assessment will be explained to you and a plan will be formulated.
No procedures (including MRI’s, CT-scan’s, EEG’s, neurocognitive testing, or autonomic testing) will be performed on the day of the initial visit.
